Robichaud scores four in HNB's 12-0 win over HPEI

Hockey New Brunswick Moncton Office Interiors Ricoh Rockets cruised to 12-0 win over Hockey Prince Edward Island Western Wind to open its 2010 Atlantic Midget Female Hockey Championship schedule.

Alternate captain Janik Robichaud led the way with fours goals and two assists, while captain Natalie Cormier, alternate captain Becky Bowes and Schyler Campbell added three points each in the win. HNB goalie Pascal Daigle picked up the in between the pipes.

Robichaud scored two of her four goals in the opening period, while Chelsea MacNeil scored a single, and HNB took a slim 3-0 lead into the second - which is when the storm of HNB goals rained down.

Katherine Richard scored a natural hat trick, Robichaud scored a pair, and Bowes added a single, as HNB took a dominating 9-0 lead into the third and final period.

With the game already out of reach, Campbell, Cormier and Gabrielle Poirer each scored singles for HNB.

Despite the lopsided score, HPEI goaltender Joanna Palmer played a great game between the pipes. Palmer saw an incredible 71 shots in the game, and turned away 59 of them.
