The Town is working towards constructing a new sewage treatment plant, which Coun. Scott said would rectify any problems in the long-term. As a short-term measure, he said the Town will wait for Bae-Newplan’s recommendation.
In the meantime, he said the Town will continue to monitor the system to anticipate any excessive flow to prevent further flooding in the areas hit last summer.
