Second defendant in drug trafficking case enters plea negotiations

The second defendant in a drug trafficking case is set to enter a plea in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m.

The accused was one of two people arrested on Dec. 23 by the Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) after a car chase and subsequent foot pursuit.

Police at the time reported seizing 505 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 279 grams of soft cocaine and 83 grams of crack cocaine.

Taylor Vandresar, 20, has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Ryan Connell, 32, has also been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, as well as failing to stop for police and breach of probation.
