I heard justice is blind. Well, now I know the truth. Yes, justice is blind. I've seen enough of it this year.

Look what happened to those scallywags who stole the taxpayers' dollars. They stole more than those who have broken in a gas bar or a corner store. Yet, they got off with a very light sentence. One got two years less a day and was out in four months. Now the other one, Wally Anderson, got the same thing. But because he was a Liberal instead of a PC he will be out in eight months.

Too foolish to talk about -

I heard justice is blind. Well, now I know the truth. Yes, justice is blind. I've seen enough of it this year.

Look what happened to those scallywags who stole the taxpayers' dollars. They stole more than those who have broken in a gas bar or a corner store. Yet, they got off with a very light sentence. One got two years less a day and was out in four months. Now the other one, Wally Anderson, got the same thing. But because he was a Liberal instead of a PC he will be out in eight months.

There is still Walsh, Collins and Murray. Will Walsh be found guilty? Like God, justice works in mysterious ways. I can't say much for Collins because I haven't heard the details. But Murray, if he is one of those who likes to gamble on those machines, he could be guilty of anything concerning money.

It's a funny going on. If an outport noddy was nabbed poaching moose, he would lose bike, gun, vehicle, and, worst of all, all that meat.

Now, if justice is fair, why couldn't the law give them a third of that moose. Let the poacher keep the car or truck, and the fine should be only a third of what it is.

One question I like to have answered. Why do MHAs steal? They are not on drugs. Do they drink like a fish? Need money for cancer sticks? This is what those on the street crave for. This is why they steal.

I was once told that the fingertips of a theft is full of magnets that attract things. That quote could be right. Those MHAs have plenty of money, but the urge was in those fingertips for more. How much do they want? Life shouldn't be based on a new car, trike or a bottle of fine wine. Life should be based on the goodness of your soul, not the goodness of a product.

Was the snagging of public money for the benefit of the people? If it was, we should give them some respect. We are the ones they are working for. If that's why Wally Anderson did it, he should get a pat on the back. Then he should be locked up to serve his sentence. Why? Well, you could be Robin Hood or Jesse James, but your still a thief. And God said, Thou shall not steal.

Now that's funny. Most of the politicians never listen to that commandment.

Tom Rideout was a good Robin Hood. He did try robbing from the rich to give to the poor. It got him nowhere. Premier Williams figured the rich needed the money in a worst way. Now Rideout took the best way out. He quit.

Did you know that the demands of the people can steal a MHA's soul. He got a job to do and the demands are great. First, they have the demands of the public. Then there are the demands from the Premier.

How can a Minister please them all? What is right for, say, New-Wes-Valley, is wrong for the Premier. Look at Trevor Taylor. He was a good man but he caved in under the pressure. Many might think it was because of the loss of the x-rays down to the North. That might be a small facture. I would say the biggest one was the pressure on his family.

And Paul Oram walked out. Now, I find this strange and funny. I have never known an Oram that would back away from anything. He claimed it was for the better of his blood pressure. I say he is telling the truth. I have blood pressure problems. It can be a big torment.

Over the years we had all kinds of people as Premiers - from pig farmers to lawyers, and school teachers to business men. None of them were any good as a human being. We even had that big teddy bear, Beaton Tulk. By the way, check this out. They couldn't find his name when they were checking for the Jesse James. Now that's proof of how honest a Tulk can be.

It's like the old saying, wiser but worsted.
