Where, and when, did we go wrong?

Too foolish to talk about -

We are supposed to be entering our golden years. Now, will someone tell me, what's so golden about it? For most of us, by the time we get old enough to enjoy life, we have forgotten what life is all about.

And what is life about? I have known people who had worked very hard. I'm a little upset. Why? Because this world has gone off the deep end. But let's get back to this hard work business. In spite of hard work, they couldn't take what they had when they died.

Before I go any further, I love to hear a sensible answer to a question - who is right, the Bible or the scientist?

If the scientist is right, humans were in many forms over the years. They went from the trees, to the caves, to the present day form. The same can be said about animal life - some died off, and some survived. The animal life of today is the ones that survived.

If those men and women of great learning got it right, Adam and Eve were swinging though the trees when they were first created. The way I see it, after they ate the forbidden fruit, God banished them from the trees into a cave. That is where Cain and Abel were created.

Now, if the Bible is right, Adam and Eve were born perfectly. God made them less than perfect after they disobeyed him. When Cain killed Abel that made it even worst. Yes, they were the reason why people on Earth are in such a mess.

Just think, if you breed two dogs, brother and sister, you do not get good puppies. Breed those puppies among themselves, and you end up with even worst puppies. Why? Because inbreeding doesn't produce good stock.

With Adam dead and Cain walking out in the wildness, the two first humans had more kids. This was where our trouble started.

Noah, who was pretty good at predicating the weather, saw rain coming. Just to be on the safe side, he built an Ark. When he saw that the water was going to cover the Earth, he invited good people into the Ark. But the only ones he could get was his own family.

Now, after the flood, the people went forth to start over. But again, the mating was between brothers and sisters, and maybe, aunts and uncles. This wasn't good. It was more inbreeding. This is why the world is in such bad shape.

Where was Adam and Eve born? And, if the Bible is true, why are scientists going all around the world, looking for the missing link? There is no such thing as the missing link. God created man from some cheap material - dust, and, according to those tall tales, Eve was created from a good solid product - a man's rib.

Yet, people keep looking for something that doesn't exist. Instead of searching for a bone, they should be looking for a way to make this world a better place.

But it is not the world. The people in it are making the mess. The more advanced the world gets, the deeper we plunge into trouble. And that's not all. People have now become a lover of plastic. This is what I call a debt-monger. People are now spending their money before they get it. I won't go into the other things that lure people into the deep end because I have mentioned it all before.

We are supposedly people of great intelligence. Yet kids are going to bed hungry. This is wrong. No little kid should go to bed hungry, but they do, and it is mostly because the parents put liquor, drugs and gambling before their kids.

There are ways to clean up the mess here on Earth. First, all borders must go. Second, have only one language, and third, one religion.

Then send the Newfoundlanders out into the world. We are the best breeding stock on earth. Look at the proof -the Newfoundland Dog. It was developed here on the Rock.

And that is proof enough.
