"What's with the nostalgia?" I wonder, as I peer at the torrential rain on the drive home from Newtown. It's hard to keep the rain off the windshield. I flick a button here and there but no words come to my mouth when the electronic voice asks how she can help.

"You can respond by asking this or that," she said, but she didn't tell me the right thing to say. Come on, there isn't even a gas cap on this car. As Richard Parsons said, "You have to go to school now to buy a car." Mr. Parsons is right. It is probably time to read the instructions.
