Mr. Simms, vote true

Dear editor,

I am increasingly concerned that our Liberal opposition is proving to be unproductive via it's failing attempts to be an affective opposition and significantly contribute to our governance. The issue forming my ire is the forced solidarity vote for the revised long gun registry. I remember the pressures felt years ago by our vigilant and respected MP George Baker. Often members were pushed to pull the party line else suffer the wrath of their leader etc... George voted as his constituents wished and always won our respect and votes.

I ask you to do the same and vote for the citizens of your district in the manner that they would if able. Don't worry about Iggy and his strong arm tactics. Most of us know it's just political posturing. The Liberal party can't afford to alienate anyone else in the country let alone it's elected representatives. Vote true and fear not...things will work out for you in the end... It's actions such as this that put morally correct and righteous members like yourself on the map so to speak. Doing what's right is often the harsher road but there are no short cuts to admiralty.

Thank you for giving my comments your time and consideration.

I have to support Mr. Simms in his gut feelings on this vote. He is a very sincere man who does represent the people well in his riding.

As a Liberal in good standing, and have been there with The Rt. Honourable Paul Martin in grooming him for Prime Minister. I do not support the present opposition leader of he Liberal Party. I get to speak to thousands of Liberal supporters who are hoping that MP Justin Trudeau will take over the reins soon. He is ready and will win the hearts of most Canadians from coast to coast.

There has been too much money invested in the Gun Law Registry to revise it. It is there to protect our people and those who enforce the law and order in this country. The Liberals supported it, now using it as political bartering.
