Pound Cove Pounder, I have no idea who you are, but this was a great weekend and if you had any knowledge of the CeeBee's you would understand that the team the weekend was close to the final product with O'Brien adding something, Gosse will add very little, but Gander will get a lot better. Gander will be ok, but the negativity that people like you bring to this game is better left at home, and they will get a goalie and their defence will be as good as most in the league.

Coming from a fans stand point to continue what Aaron said. This years team is not all about winning. I mean yes we would like to see some wins but the fans are just happy that senior hockey is back in gander and for some guys to voice his opinion ( which there is nothing wrong with that) but can't show his own name.. That's pretty low. We don't expect to win the herder this year or even next year for that matter. We are just happy to have our flyers back and to be able to pack the rink with almost 2000 screaming fans who are all excited just to see the purple and gold back in town and unlike a person like you we stand by our team if the lose or if they win!

Not a bad show, but losing 4 points every weekend isn't going to help its fan base. What is wrong with their D too? They are soft as butter. Gale has the right last name because a good gale of wind would knock him down. By's lay a scatter hit. I think they are lucky that Gosse and Obrien wouldn't there. This wasn't the CeeBees best team by a long shot, they only had 3 of their D there, one being Jamie Tobin who's a forward. Clarenville comes to town they better have spare lightbulbs on hand for the nets. This fella Pat O'brien they had in net wouldn't stop a Gambo fire truck. And Bursey, well I won't go there. What happened to Kennedy? I'd say he saw the defense and said, I'm not coming. Dennis Laing has his hands full. Bunch of young fellas who will get sick of losing soon. They work hard, but hard work only gets you so far. If you don't have a goalie or defense worth putting on the ice, you are up the creek with no cottonelle.

No disrespect to your view on the team or what you seen this weekend as I for one wasn't there to see it but what many people don't understand is that you can't expect a team to jump into a league and be successful right off the get go .you have to remember that only a few players have played senior before and it's a jump for a lot of the rookies on the young flyers . With time there will be a good team in gander able to make a run at the herder , it might not be this year but with the young guys hard work pays . Things will be good in flyers nation

Kennedy didn't want to play for gander because he figured they'd be basement dwellers in the standings. He demanded a trade and gander couldn't get anything decent for him and with gander refusing to release his rights he's sitting out
