Centreville man arrested for drug trafficking


CENTREVILLE, NL – A 59-year-old Centreville man has been arrested and is facing a charge of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

RCMP officers from the detachments in New-Wes-Valley and Glovertown executed a search warrant at a home in Centreville on the evening of Oct. 5, seizing cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, over $2,000 in cash and a firearm.

Illegal moose meat and salmon was also found at the home and subsequently seized by Fish and Wildlife.
