TORONTO - The Queen is receiving a virtual bouquet of flowers on her new BlackBerry following an exploration of Canadian technological advancements.
She's visiting Research In Motion where Mike Lazaridis, the high-tech company's co-founder, presented her with a personalized BlackBerry.
The high-tech gift included an image of children from Queen Elizabeth Public School in Kitchener, Ont., offering flowers, a traditional greeting for the monarch.
The Queen wore a white smock over her butter-yellow outfit for her tour of the RIM facility in Waterloo, Ont., to see how the ubiquitous gadgets are made.
But she kept her hat, a matching yellow hat with multicoloured ribbon and lavender brim.
The Queen will return to Toronto this afternoon to visit a 3D film production facility.
Tonight, the royal couple will attend a dinner hosted by the federal government and the Queen will give her fourth and final speech of her 22nd Canadian tour.
Prince Philip will also be presenting the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, a program that encourages youth to participate in community service, among other areas.
Pinewood Toronto Studios is Canada's largest film and television production complex, with seven sound stages and more than 23,000 square metres of production space.
Today's schedule takes the Queen, 84, and Prince Philip, 89, from 10 a.m. to about 9 p.m.
So far the royal couple has also visited Halifax, Ottawa and Winnipeg on their nine-day Canadian tour. They head for New York after leaving Toronto on Tuesday.

Your one-way plane ticket to Texas or Cuba (you pick) awaits at the Charlottetown Airport.

Drive thyself there and present thyself to the Air Canada ticket counter. They will give you a boarding pass and a parachute along with a bulls eye target to wear on your back.

    Good luck.

Attention Headline Author - I assume HRH means Her Royal Higness. The correct way to refer to Queen Elizabeth II is Her Majesty.

Sorry. I don't have too much of a problem with the Queen. I have a problem with head line haters. HRH gets a blackberry , is a good headline. if it read Her Majesty gets a blackberry most people would skip pass the article, as the Queen is irrelevant to them.

Most people don't realize it but we pay more per Canadian to the monarchy than the English. It's not that much in total, about 55 million dollars. In principle though, It's just too costly, for what. I would much rather see that money going towards own the podium or G20 security.
