Google's Pixel 8A leaks in all colors – including dark green

We're a month away from Google I/O, where the company will announce its new Pixel 8A phone. At this point, there are already plenty of renders and some real-world footage. now, Courtesy Android headlinesOfficial marketing images of the device seem to have been leaked.

To be precise, they show that Google plans to offer the Pixel 8A in four colors: black, ceramic, blue and a very vibrant green. It's certainly more saturated than the “Mint” that Google added to the Pixel 8 color options earlier this year.

Like its predecessors, the phone is rumored to sport a 6.1-inch display, although it's still unclear whether it will top out at 90Hz or 120Hz. The 8A has even thicker bezels than the flagship Pixel 8 and 8 Pro – especially at the bottom. Like those devices, it will be powered by Google's Tensor G3 chip.

The The rumor mill has pointed out This could be the last A-series Pixel phone – at least for a while. Later this year, Google is expected to release three versions of the Pixel 9: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. They all have different screen sizes (and prices). Finally toss in the Pixel Fold 2, and there may not be enough room for the 9A. Even from a price point of view, there isn't much room between the 7A and the Pixel 8 models that are still on sale.

Google's I/O 2024 keynote is scheduled for May 14. Compared to the many 8A leaks, we haven't seen much of the Pixel Fold 2, so the company could hold off until October and align the entire premium series with a single Tensor G4 processor.
